The PLUS Equation: Diversity + Inclusion = Innovation
Thanks to research and first-hand experience, organizations across all industries are increasingly tuned into the reality that inclusion leads to engagement and engagement leads to innovation.
The Power of Inclusion (from the Diversity Summit for the San Diego County Urban League)
My conversation with this group reinforced one of the major findings of a recent study Novations completed in conjunction with Linkage: over the last 10 years, there have been great strides in moving away from an emphasis on legal compliance and towards an emphasis on building an inclusive organization where everyone can succeed. But I realized in my tenure in corporate HR departments that it's not that CEOs are uncaring about their people. Rather I needed to do a better job of connecting my recommendations to the business needs that CEOs and other senior leaders are most concerned with: revenue, profitability, and competitive advantage.
Generation Jump
Traditional paths to visibility and approval can look like an org chart animated in a video game. One climbs and ducks and generally gets knocked down before unlocking the next level.
Losing Resources in 09? You can still develop TALENT
Doing more with less is not going to help you meet your goals this year. It's time to do more with more.
